Well - take a look at the sky! We had a kind of freak storm yesterday - out of nowhere! They looked up and saw the storm approaching them from both sides!!!! They made a run for it back to the dock and fortunately, there were some helpful gents there who were able to assist in getting the boat into the slip. The winds were clocked at over 50 mph, lightening strikes everywhere, downed trees, downed power lines, torrential rain bursts, hail - in other words, a whopper!
Within a fairly short amount of time - it was all over!

A few hours later, it was warm and raining. Of course it was probably due to the rain dance that you are witnessing here!
Some good friends of ours raise all sorts of bamboo that they sell. Chick-a-dee LOVED to run through the "forest"!

Oh I love a good thunderstorm! But ummm, on the lake...in a boat...not such a good combo!
I'm intrigued by the bamboo growing...very interesting.
Lucy's fav color is pink too! Or...maybe after two boys, it's MY favorite!
